We had so much fun making badges out of old book pages!!

We try to reuse as much as we can in our shop and when I thrifted an old badge maker from @emmausbristol I knew we would have a use for it!

We try to save the illustrations out of the vintage books we turn into clocks so really happy we can diversify our stock and divert from landfill at the same time!

These badges were made using illustrations from a 1970s Winnie the Pooh book and we can't believe how cute they look!!

We are incredibly sad to share that one of our traders, Mark from Myth and Lore Zine, has passed.

Mark and Ellie have been with us since the very beginning- we met them at the Alternative Market when we had our first ever stall. They also supported our first ever Festival of Stories and became our first ever Local Storytellers in our shop ❤️

They probably never realised it but they were a huge source of support and inspiration for us when we started our bookshop journey. Mark championed lots of local creatives and really believed in sharing stories- we feel really lucky to have been a small part of sharing his.

Thank you to both Mark and Ellie for your warmth, support and passion for stories. We will try to honour Mark's legacy by continuing to bring together the storytelling community.

Folklore is for everyone. ✊️

While Ollie and I will never truly be able to understand how scary things feel right now, we will try to be the best allies we can.
